Fred has coached grade school, middle school, high school, and college wrestling for 26 years. After his prep career in Indiana, where he was named Indiana’s outstanding wrestler for the 1982-1983 season, he wrestled on scholarship for all 4 of his years at Duke University and graduated in 1987. Fred and his wife moved to Oconee County in 1997. He has taught in the Walton County School system since 1997, has two children attending Oconee County schools, and is actively involved in several community groups.
Leon wrestled from 6th grade through high school, and was also on the weightlifting team, kickboxing team & chess club. 2014 was his first year as a wrestling coach.

Leon is a member of the NPC, AAU, USAW, and the Georgia Sheriffs Association, and has been employed by the Clarke County Sheriffs office as a Lieutenant for the last 29 years. He lives in Oconee County with his wife Sonya, daughter Briana, stepdaughter Hunter, and son Blade. Leon is the owner/operator of HI-TEC Body & Bike Shop located in Bogart, and his hobbies include bodybuilding, powerlifting, wrestling, musclecars, & motorcycles.
Don grew up around wrestling as a child. His father coached at Berkmar High School in Lilburn. He began competing in 5th grade and wrestled 4 years at Shiloh High School in Lithonia.

Don has 3 children in Oconee county schools. He has been happily married for over fifteen years. He has worked as a pilot since 1995 and has lived in the Athens/Oconee area since 1998. He is thoroughly convinced that wrestling is the best way to teach young men independence, grit, and how to overcome any obstacle.
Jason was a three year letter winner at Central Cambria High School in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania under Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee and coach of the 1978 US Junior World Team coach Tom Vaux.
Jason was a three year letter winner at Central Cambria High School in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania under Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee and coach of the 1978 US Junior World Team coach Tom Vaux. Jason has served as an assistant coach for Oconee Youth Wrestling since the foundation of the club in 2009.
Jason moved to Oconee County in 2004 and is employed as a wildlife biologist with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources in Social Circle. In his spare time, Jason enjoys hunting and fishing. Jason and his wife Jenifer reside in North High Shoals with their dog Duke.
Dan wrestled at Sun Valley High School in Aston, Pennsylvania under 2019 National Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee coach Chuck Grassano.
Dan wrestled at Sun Valley High School in Aston, Pennsylvania under 2019 National Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee coach Chuck Grassano. He has two boys that wrestle in the club at both the novice and open levels and began coaching with Oconee Youth Wrestling in 2018. He has also enjoyed coaching youth soccer and little league baseball. Dan moved to Oconee County in 2011 with his wife Kasey and two boys who both attend Oconee County schools. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia and is employed by American Pride Bank in Athens.
Joey started wrestling as a freshman in high school and later spent ten years around the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program as a Black Belt Instructor.
